This is in memory of an RP of my character Lei and Jake ( Galinda Uppman )in a role playing site called hex.
The RP happened some years ago, and when I read it, it almost brought tears to my eyes, for he is now gone, and the things we said in this RP...they were from the heart and real. I was reluctant, and he was persistent. I am now sorry that it didn't worked out, the RP as well as the relationship.
The Story is set in the background of the harry potter world, exp hogwarts.

Of Whimsical Kisses
Jake: Sean, wide eyed and dazed, flushed and stepped out of a stall to the far right. He was fairly quiet. A lot of people thought him insane, but nothing could be farther from the truth. He had long black hair, hanging over his left eye and ending at about shoulder length. He was tall, lanky in the apendages and very pale.
He knew the two boys however, he was in a few of their classes. He doubted that they were ignorant to his existance aswell, for he had gotten himself quite the reputation as the Hufflepuff loon. "Hello." He said, a bit distantly and with a small smile. He strode over to the scene.
His smile wasnt ordinary, it was soulful and a little unnerving according to the population there at the school. Sean knew what people thought of him, though he didnt mind it. At the sight of Ryan in the corner, Sean hardened his brow. "Whats the matter?" He said, not caring that it was really none of his business. With shrug, Sean leaned up against the wall and slowly slid to the floor a few feet away from Ryan.
Ryan: Ryan seemed as if he didn't hear them for a second,"wha...oh umm. Nothin much. It's just...nothing. It's really nothing." Ryan showed a fake but weak smile. He hummed a strange melody to himself and then remembered there was still people and stopped, "Oh, I didn't know you were still there...sorry." Ryan signed.
Sean: "Are you sure nothing is wrong?" Sean asked again, still sounding a little distant, but clearly in the conversation. "Dont worry if its private, I wont tell a soul. I dont really talk to most people." Sean laughed a bit, squinting his eyes with a cheerly smile. He crossed his legs and rested his wrists on the bright green socks covering his ankles. "So really, feel free to speak." Sean said, staring at one of the sinks and biting his lower lip. "Im a pretty good listener." He added before falling silent and leaving a small unnerving feel in the room.
Lei: Lei passes by and Notice some boys talking.
But suddenly he remembered he left his Potions Assignment at the dorm, he ran back to get it.
Sean: Sean watched the other boy step into the bathroom and run back out. A sudden impulse hit him, and he felt a desire to chase. He got up quickly and bolted out the door without another word. He looked aorund the hallway and spotted him walking down the hall toward his dorm.
Sean laughed to himself a bit and chased after. "So why am I doing this?" he asked himself. He shrugged off the question and continued to follow.
Lei: Lei have this feeling of being followed, so he takes a quick peek behind and saw this boy running after him. He turns a corner and hides. When the boy following him approaches, he grabs him by the corner.
"Why have you been following me?"
Sean: "I dont know." Sean said smiling and slightly tilting his head to the side. "I guess I just felt like it." He chuckled, shrugging. "Or maybe I was curious, you pick." He laughed again.
Lei: Lei rolls his eyes.
"Well, I do not buy that, we both are going to go to Madam Pomphrey; She maybe able to extract your evil intentions better than me"
Lei tries to drag the boy towards the Hospital Wing where they can find Madam Pomphrey.
Sean: "Evil?" Sean questioned, not really resisting on their way to the green house. He had actually twisted the position from Lei grabbing onto his arm to Sean holding Lei's hand. "What makes you think that im plotting anything evil?" Sean asked as they passed through the main doors and started down the path to the green house. Sean didnt really understand what was going on, but he didnt really mind.
Lei:"You must be some plotting slytherin, and only Merlin knows what slytherins are upto at the best of times. And everyone knows slytherins are evil!!"
Then Lei notices the other boy is not a slytherin.
"Eh? You are not a slytherin are you" He asked apologetically.
Sean:"No, im actually a Hufflepuff." Sean said a bit distantly again. "I just really like the color green." He smiled, looking down at his emerald green socks. "And I dont thinke ALL Slytherins are evil." Sean said quietly. "Though, they have earned themselves quite the reputation." He shrugged, crossing his arms.
Lei: Lei feels really really bad now. He must have painted a picture of himself as an insufferable Gryffindor.
"I am really, Sorry. Er... I feel really bad about ... mishandling you. Is there anything I can do to make it up."
He looks at the boy with puppy eyes.
Sean: Sean looked at the boy for a moment and then quickly kissed him on the lips. "That should suffice." Sean said, a bit shaken as he turned around and started to walk off, feeling a bit nervous. Half of him wanted to get away, but the other half wanted Lei to follow.
Lei: Lei was too stunned to act when the boy, whose name he does not even know, kissed him fully on the lips!
It took Lei full 10 seconds to fully grasp the situation and come to his senses.
He saw the boy leaving him after kissing him without giving him any explanation.
He runs after the boy and stood in front of him blocking his way.
"What was that for?" he demands.
Sean: "Once again, im not really sure." He smiled and let out a small laugh before rounding around the boy and smiling to himself. "I wanted too I guess." Sean shrugged as he leaned up agaist one of the stone walls and slowly sank to sit on the floor. "Having you ever just, acted off of impulse?" Sean asked. "Somtimes it can lead to good things." He smiled as he played with the dark brown hair that hung in his pale face.
Lei: "Impulse?", Lei wondered aloud, "what is that? Some kind of thrust on an engine? What has that got anything to do with right now?"
wait, lei tells himself, I think I am being too out of mind right now, let me take some few deep breaths and analyse the situation
"Well, First of all, what is your name? I want to know the name of the first person that is scaring me throughtly."
Sean: "Im sorry, I dont mean to frighten you." Sean said, feeling embarassed. "Im Sean Uppman." He said. "and impulse is like, a sudden urge." Sean said a bit more to himself than to Lei. "I get them a lot." He laughed as he looked back over to Lei.
Lei: "Alright, Sean, I am Lei. And I would appreciate if you curb our impulsiveness around me. Whims and caprices are not for gentle folk. "
Lei sits down beside Sean.
" Sometimes we run away with ideas when the other person does something totally innocent thing out of impulse. And likewise, I have have run away with ideas if I have not enquired the source of your actions."
Sean: "Well, somtimes you get a feeling, and you just have to run with it." Sean said, looking to the floor. "Are you angry?" Sean asked as he folded himself into more of a ball shape and rested his head on his folded forarms which were sitting atop his kneecaps. "I didnt mean to upset you." Sean said.
Lei: Lei smiles at Sean. "No, I am not angry or upset, so you don't need to apologise. But we must keep acts of love for the purpose of love only. To misuse kisses, hugs for purpose that are not intended for a love person means we are abusing the means of expressing our love."
"For example, let us suppose that we end up loving each other in the future. At that time, I would not know what your kisses are for, either due to impluse or out of love. "
Sean: "Well, what if there were hopes of... somthing... in the futur?" Sean said, turning to Lei and looking at him through the hair that fell over his eyes. "Even impulse is sparked by emotion, it could be that I, myself, am seeking somthing." Sean said, laying his head against the wall.
Lei: Lei delierated for a moment. "If I am to understand, by your previous statement, that you are expecting a relation out of some impulsive kisses, then you are thoroughly mistaken. First of all, you are too young. Second, you are too young, and third you are too young."
Sean: "Well, we're both in the same school arent we? I am a 5th year." Sean said, feeling badly. "Never mind, forget you met me." Sean said, standing up and walking away again. His icey blue eyes dimmed a bit and turned to a greyish color.
Lei "Fine", he lets out in exasperation.
The cheek of that hupplepuff, one would have never guessed.
The day passed on, but around evening, Lei was carrying hordes of books for professor mcgonagal, but someone bumped into him and the book all fell down. When he looks around for the culprit, he cound Sean.
"You did that on purpose, didn't you?" he said accusingly.
Lei "Im sorry." Sean said, noticing that it was Lei and feeling a small urch in his chest. He picked up the books and stacked them in Lei's arms. A pair of small tears formed in Sean's. He quickly shifted his hair over them before anyone could notice and wiped them away. After picking up his own books, Sean looked Lei in the eyes, as if asking for another chance, but shook the feeling and decided it was better if he just kept heading foward. Once again he felt that split feeling. Did he want to get away from the situation? Or did he want Lei to follow him?
Sean: Sean has his nasty habit of walking away from him, Lei concurs.
With his hand full with books, he manage to catch up with sean.
"Sean, is something wrong?" Lei asked with concern.
Lei: "No, everything is fine." Sean said falsely, but trying to convince Lei that there was nothing to be worried about. "Really, you just go where you need to, it'll be fine." Sean, trying his best to avoid eye contact.
"No Sean, Don't lie. I know you are hurt. Whether the perpetrator of that is me or not, I cannot guess. I have to go now, because Mcgonagal is waiting for her books .Promise me that you will meet me in the transfiguration classroom after dark. "
Sean: "I guess." Was Sean's reply, though he really ment to show up. "I'll see you then." He said, once again in his distant tone. "I need to go get a few ingrediants for Snape's class from the grounds, so I need to be on my way aswell." Sean nodded and turned, stepping down the stairs quickly.
He strode, pensivly, down the path to a small bush which he began to pluck for a specific berry Snape instructed them to find. He filled a jar full and took a seat under a tree and decided to wait there untill it was about time to meet Lei. He was confused as to weather or not he actually wanted to go.
Lei: It was nearly dark when Lei came down to the transfiguration class. He almost forgot about the rendezvous but somehow it suddenly came to his mind that he was to meet Sean.
When he came Sean was not there, so Lei decided to wait for a few minutes to see is Sean would show up.
Sean: Sean lifted himself up off the slightly moist grass and pushed through the main entrance. The castle had a spooky air about it, most of the lights were off and the hall ways were vacant. Sean didnt mind, he liked the quiet. He smirked to himself as he walked, he was thinking about Lei, how he felt about him, what he would do.
He silently floated up the stairs, moving swiftly so that it was almost as if his feet didnt hit the floor. He noticed a glowing green flyer up on the wall, it said Beware Sean Uppman It featured a rather insane looking photo of him with a grin on his face that was clearly not his own, only put there to make him look more frightening. Sean laughed at it and went on his way.
It took about 5 minutes to reach the transfiguration class. He took a deep breath to calm his nerves and turned the handle. 'Controle yourself.' Sean thought to himself as he slid through the door. He saw Lei leaning up against one of the desks. It effected him differently than he thought, Sean felt like his heart was cracking inside his chest, Lei's look in his eye wracked Sean's mind. "Lei..." Sean said quietly. He ran over to Lei gripped him by the shoulders, crashing his lips into the other boys.
'so much for keeping controle' Sean thought to himself as he kissed the Ravenclaw. Sean's eyes widened and he stepped back. "I- Im sorry." Sean said and stepped back a bit further.
Sylar: Sylar walked down the Transfiguration hallway muttering to himself.
"That Ryan is such an emotional waterfall, I mean everytime you see him, he's either in the bathroom sobbing and crying in one of the stalls or he's on his way to the bathroom to sob and cry in one of the stalls"
Sylar was just outside of the Transfiguration classroom, he was searching for Professor Mcgonogall.
Sylar burst open the doors, holding a piece of parchment and started talking.
"Professor Mcgonogall, I don't understand how I got an 'Acceptable' on this ess..."
Sylar had just noticed that there were two guys in there and no Mcgonogall, and to top it off, they were kissing and had just pulled apart frantically.
"ay" Sylar finished his word after the initial shock.
Lei: It was a wonder Lei didn't collapse when both things happen simultaneously. One moment he was all alone, next moment, he was attacked by lips and the other moment before he could even admit surprise, another boy walked on them when the attacked happened.
"Blimey! What the hell is going on?!"
After gaining his senses.
"Sean! What was that? I told you strictly that I do not appreciate randomness and more so when it is a kiss."
He takes his eyes from Sean and look at the other guy.
"Excuse me, but can we help you with somthing?"
Sean: "I know." Sean said, backing up even further to the point that he was up against the wall. "I just... lost control." Sean said quietly, almost completely unaware that the other boy was there. "What did you want to meet me for?" Sean said, once again avoiding eye contact. He felt it was better to skip the emotional drabble and cut the the chase.
Lei: He suddenly remembered the purpose of this (not so)clandestine meeting. He didn't want to hurt Sean but there is no other way.
"I know Sean this will be hard for you. But promise me that you will not do anything foolish after hearing me out."
Lei look deep into Sean's eyes trying to be as serious as is possible.
Sean: Sean nodded, folding his arms around his torso and rubbing his forarms in discomfort. "I promise." Sean said, a bit hesitantly, he was very afraid of what Lei was about to say. He didnt know what it was, but he could tell from his tone that it would hurt.
Lei: Lei composed himself, takes a deep breath,"Sean, I know you like me, but this has to stop. When I say something harsh to you, you cry, when I talk to you softly, you smile, when I look at you harshly, you are afraid, when I nod my head to you, you are apprehensive. This is too much. I cannot let you be influenced by my actions. This has to stop. What you are feeling right now is not the sacred thing called love, but is infatuation, and you are besotted with passion, which is a wild emotion, which must be curb if we are to live in a pious manner. So stop following me around, and stop caring for me or whatever you feel for me, just let it stop."
Lei was breathless when he said this. He cannot deny that he have some feeling for Sean, but he cannot just get on with some boy's infatuation. Passion must be kept at control.
Sean: Sean bit his lip, trying to fight back his uprising outburst. He gripped onto his own arms, tensing with the dissapointment. His head hung, his hair falling over his eyes. He was deturmined to not allow himself to reveal how hard an impact Lei's words had made.
"Whatever you say." Sean, finally looking Lei in the eyes. "I'll back off." Sean said, his back against the cold stone of the castle. There was pain in his voice, but that was to be expected. "But, everything starts with passion, its the first step. I'll leave you alone though." Sean said, dragging himself toward the door.
Lei: Lei didn't know what to do at situation like this. If there was ever a book that teach you how to handle situation like this, he have missed it.
"Wait, Sean." He ran after him and catching up to him he pulls him into an embrace.
"I am sorry. I never asked what you feel about all this, but only considered about myself. Tell me what you feel about all these. Tell me what you want me to do."
Sean: "I..." Sean said, having trouble finding the words to describe it. "I am attracted to you." He said after a moment of thought. "Its different than the little crushes I've had before, you stood out in my mind, and I felt like I wanted... more. Even though it started from a whim, I've evolved it in my mind to be more than that." Sean said, flipping his hair out of his eyes and crossing his legs. "All im asking for... is a chance. You've rejected from the get go, even that wasnt so far back, but still... just a chance."
Lei: "A chance of what?" , Lei asked.
Sean: "A chance to... show you... that maybe what im feeling isnt just lust or infatuation." Sean said sternly, readjusting his stance to be in a more confident pose. He stood with his feet apart and his arms braced at his sides.
Lei: Lei shakes his head.
"No Sean, this I cannot give you. Love does not develop out of giving chance or something. It must happen automatically."
Lei ponders for a while.
"Alright, I have come to the conclusion that I will do give you a chance, we will be friends for a while. I will be with you for most part of my free time, we will see how we two go with each other. But mind you not as lovers, but just as friends. After a month or so, we will see if we can take the friendship further or whether we should end any possibility or anything further."
Sean: A smile creeped across Sean's face and he stepped closer to Lei. "Alright." he responded. "Umm, I have an essay to finish up back in the common room." Sean said, frowning again, sad that he couldnt stick around. "But, can we meet up again tomorrow after classes end... umm... by the lake?" Sean asked. "I look foward to spending time with you." Sean smiled, still waiting for an answer.
Lei: Lei smiles at Sean.
"Alright Sean. I will meet you after classes. But no kisses during this one month. Alright? Promise?"
Sean: Sean clenched his teeth together, partially joking. "Alright." Sean agreed, stepping closer to Lei and looking him in the eyes. He let out his arms, gesturing for a hug and somewhat asking permission.
Lei: Lei nods and throws his arm around Sean.
"Go, and do your homework."
Sean: Sean snuggled his head into Lei's chest but quickly let go before doing somthing he would regret. He flashed Lei one last smile before heading out the door and heading up to his own dorm to finish up his assignment. He got outside the door and bolted down the hallway, as soon as he was far enough away, he let out a small squeal of joy before entering the Hufflepuff common.
The next day, he sat through his classes, but not without difficulty, Lei was on his mind.
Sylar: Sylar sat in the Ravenclaw common room that night by himself, he was scratching away at his N.E.W.T arithmancy essays.
It was quarter to 2 before he finished and went upstairs to his dorm, he had Quidditch practice tomorrow afternoon.
The next day during classes, Sylar glanced over at the boy who...liked the other boy and...Sylar was confused, as far as he was concerned the whole school was barking mad!
He noticed that the silly Hufflepuff wasn't paying attention at all to his lessons.
Afterwards, Sylar shrugged off his buddies and caught up with the Hufflepuff and pulled him into the bathroom.
"What the?" the Hufflepuff began, but Sylar interrupted.
"Tell me what in the world is going on between you and that Gryffindor?"
Sean: "I like him." Sean said simply with a small laugh. He didnt even look the other boy in the eyes. "Why do you ask?" Sean said, quirking his head to the side and giving the other boy an odd look. It really wasnt any of his business and Sean was confused as to why he really cared.
Sylar: Sylar laughed, "You're wondering why I care...right?"
The Hufflepuff looked a bit unnerved, but replied with a very nasty tone.
"Yes, I do because I don't see how it's any of your business!"
There was a sound of sobbing in the corner of the bathroom.
Sylar rolled his eyes, "Ryan will you shut up!"
Sylar looked back at the Hufflepuff and smirked, "I'll see you later, Huffie."
and Sylar turned around and headed towards the door with the same smirk still on his face.
Sean" "Well your asking me about my personal affairs." Sean said quickly before the Ravenclaw had a chance to leave. "You should at least let me know why you are inquiring." Sean said, stopping the other boy in the door way.
"Why?" Sean asked again, determined to get an answer.
Sylar: Sylar bit his lip...he was getting exactly what he wanted...
"Well.." Sylar began as he bent towards the Hufflepuffs ear...he whispered: "That's not really any of your business now is it?"
Sylar felt the boy shudder a little, and at once the Hufflepuff looked at Sylar.
Sylar bore his deep, dark green eyes into him with a blank and emotionless face
...extracting what he wanted.
Sean:Sean lowered his brow, this other boy was being far too confusing and it was frustrating him. "Really, it is my business, considering that your business includes asking about my business." Sean said a bit heatedly. "Tell me." He said, or rather, demanded. Sean didnt like to be confused about... well... anything, much less when he was included.
There was a absance of students in the common room, it must have been a lot later than he thought. "Maybe I'll make it out of this." Sean throught to himself as he stood up, looking wide eyed through the dark common room. He searched the walls for what could be an exit, he spotted the back of the fat lady's portrait and slowly crept over. He reached out of push it foward.
"Sean?" Said a groggy Ron Weasly as he trudged down the stairs. "How in bloody hell did you get in here?" He asked, standing in the middle of the room in his pajamas.
"Umm, Im really not sure." Sean lied, after all, stranger things had happened at Hogwarts. "I climbed under a book case up in the observation tower, and I ended up here." Sean shrugged. Lieing was a skill he had perfected, given his natural talent with the subject. "I definatly should be going though, I'll get massive detentions if im cought in here." Sean said as Ron lit up a lumos. Sean headed over to the exit and slowly pushed it open, trying his best not to wake the sleeping lady inside it.
"Wait, Sean, umm." Sean called quietly after him. Sean turned back and quirked his head in question. "Well, I-... never mind." Ron said, turning around and going back up the stairs, mumbling somthing to himself. Sean throught about it for a second but remembered the much more important task at hand, getting back to his own dorm.
He slid out from the portrait and gently rested it back into its locked position, he turned out toward the now almost pitch black hallway, the silence was piercing and the darkness didnt help at all, but he wasnt about to risk lighting up a lumos. "Here goes nothing." He said to himself as he began down the corridor again.
Lei: Lei was coming down the corridor. He was suppose to be doing his transfiguration assignment, professor McGonnagal has been giving assignments with a rather free hand these days, and in liberal quantity.
Trying to stop worrying about these assignments, lei just want to get to clear his head from something. So he heads towards the lake, but before going there, a sudden urge to go to the washroom washes over him, so he went to the nearest.
Sean: Sean woke up... a bit later than usual. It was the next day. He made it through the dark halls the night before with little difficulty. It was hard for Sean to get out of bed, he had gotten back to the common room fairly late, but he managed to pull himself to his feet and put on his day cloths.
He headed down into his common. "Hey James." he said to one of his fellow Hufflepuffs, "Are there classes today?" He asked. "No, its Saturday." he replied, going back to his book.
Sean was releaved, he definatly didnt have teh focus to concentrate on school work. He ran back up to his dorm and grabbed his tooth brush and past and headed out of the common for the bathroom. He walked swiftly down the the cold stone hallway and entered the boys bathroom. Without looking around, he stepped straight up to a sink and began running the brush over his teeth. He glanced over in mid scrub and saw the top of Lei's head over the stall. Sean's face went a slight pink.
Lei: Lei jumped.
"uh oh, I didn't notice you there, Jake. how is it going?"
YOu usually come to this bathroom?"
Sean: Sean's eyes widened at being addressed. He removed the tooth brush from his mouth and spat quickly into the sink. "Umm... usually only in the mornings to brush." He laughed, a little embarassed at being cought in his morning state. Hair still messed up from the nights sleep and his his eyes dark around the sockets. He took a quick swig of fosset water and wrinsed his mouth. "I havnt seen you in here before though." Sean said, pulling a brush out of his pocket and starting to run in through his, now untamed, hair.
Lei: Lei was not comfortable discussing bathroom sanitation at this early in the hour so he made it short.
"No, I don't come here often, I prefer the one in gryffindor tower. Anyway, I must be off, I need to clear my head off before going any further, and for that I am going to throw myself in the lake. "
Sean: Sean raised one eyebrow in an expression of confusion and slight intimidation. "Umm... alright." Sean said, feeling a tad bit abandoned and lonely after being ditched all of the sudden. "That guy is so very indecisive." Sean said to himself, as if beginning a conversation.
Once Sean's hair had been effectivly wrangled down and his teeth were up to normal luster, he pulled open the heavy wooden bathroom door and began out the hallway. Lei had told him he was heading toward the lake, but Sean decided that it was better to let him clear his head, as he said he was going to do.
In stead, Sean took a quick run up the stairs and back down for fun before slipping into Professor Flitwick's class and proceeding to go on with some extra tutoring he had set up for a a few days back. It wasnt that he needed tutoring, it was that he loved charms much more than any other subject. Professor Flitwick could tell and insisted that he and Sean worked on progressing into advanced charms through outside of class tutoring.
"So, Professor, what do you have up your sleeve today?" Sean laughed as he lightly skipped up to Flitwick's desk.
"Well, today we'll be continuing foward with yesterday's instruction on inanimate control..." He trailed off. Sean sat and listened attentivly, trying to to let his mind drift to thoughts of Lei. He figured that Lei would come to him when he was ready.
Lei After some heavy swimming, that includes some exercise with the giant squid, Lei came back to his dorm, changed his clothes and rushed off to class only to remember that it is a saturday and there is no class.
He must be losing his head. That Jake boy have messed with his head.
He heads straight for the hufflepuff common room.
Sean: Sean slipped through Professor Flitwick's door, calling a quick thank you back to the miniature Professor. Flitwick squeaked a response and the door shut. Sean stood absent for a moment, wondering if going down to the lake was a good idea at this point. "Well I must have been in there for at least an hour and a half." Sean said out loud to himself. "So maybe he is... but on the other hand..." He continued to think outloud as he walked down the hallway, attracting a bit of bewildered attention but not noticing nor caring.
He found himself at the Hufflepuff common room, in heated debate with his own conflicting self. "Well you dont want to smother him do you?!" He said, as he stepped up to the Hufflepuff portrait, so deep in his fight that he hardly noticed Lei heading that way.
Lei: Lei saw Jake coming from the other direction
"Ah, there you are Jake". Lei said, trying to make himself cool.
"I was searching for you. There is something I need to talk to you about. "
Lei hesitates
"Can you spare me a few moments?"
Sean: Sean spun around and was shocked at Lei's face. He gasped but then calmed, comprehending that it was Lei and he just wanted to talk. Sean wasnt used to being addressed, that was apparent, he though.
"Oh, um, no problem" Sean said, nodding. "What is it?"
Lei: " Er...
Lei hesitates, gathers up his courage and
"Er... I was thinking, and that somehow... and by that way...
Lei was not making sense but at that exact moment, CRASH something fell down just beside sean.
Sean: Sean fell backward and looked up at the object. It was one of the gargoyles from the dungeon. Sean's heart was pounding for several reasons:
1. It seemed Lei was trying to tell him somthing very important.
2. His heart always seemed to do somthing like that when he was talking to Lei.
3. He was almost crushed by a gargoyle that was several floor above where it was supposed to be.
Sean looked up at the ceiling where it fell through. A silvery white face looked down at them with a wicked grin. "How'de you like that one Seany." Peeves cackled, letting the rest of his head float throught the ceiling.
"Peeves! This isnt the time!" Sean growled, his eyes swiftly flashed to a bright red and peeves flickered back up through the ceiling. Sean took a few deep breaths to calm his nerves and then got to his feet, knees still shaking.
"Well... that was odd." Sean said, still shaking a bit.
Lei: "You alright? Nothing hurt? "
Lei looks concerned.
"Alright then come with me..."
Lei took Sean's hands and dragged him to the boy's bathroom.
Sean: Sean followed behind Lei, a bewildered look on his face as he was tugged through the halls and briskly pulled through the bathroom door.
Once there, he stood, looking Lei in the eyes and feeling the importance of the moment. "Alright, what was it you wanted to tell me?" Sean asked, now extremely anxious.
Lei: Lei hesitates for a moment.
"Sean, I think I am going crazy. I can't concentrate on my studies. I feel like I am missing some important part of me, and I can't see what it is I am missing. But when I am with you, I feel complete."
Sean: Sean stepped foward, a smile on his face. He put his arms around Lei's neck and look him in the eyes. "Lei, I know exactly what you mean." He said, with a little shudder in his voice. He let go of Lei and stepped backward, wanting to see what Lei was going to do next.
Lei: Lei Gulp.
"But Sean, I am not ready for this. I don't know I feel scared."
Lei looks deep into sean's eyes.
Sean: Sean stepped back after hearing that Lei was fearful. Fear, it was a word that stung Sean, considering that ever since his first year, his quiet and strange ways always caused people to truely fear him. He knew Lei wasnt using it like that, but it still made him feel a lot less confident in the situation.
"Oh.." Sean said, now having trouble finding somthing to say. "Well, if you think about it, when are you really 'ready' for somthing like this?" Sean asked, now keeping his distance.
Lei: Lei feels a bit sad. He didn't expected this to happen. But he is a lot confused about what is happening.
He says, "Alright Sean. I don't know how I will know when I am ready but I need to think about this."
Sean: "Lei, if you dont feel that this is... this is the right thing to do, then Im willing to wait untill your sure." Sean nodded, pulling out his wand again and flurishing it toward the streaming water once again and spinning it around in a small ball shape.
"You know Lei, I havnt had many... happy memories." Sean said, looking at the ball of water he was spinning to avoid Lei's gaze. "A patronus charm... its been extremely hard to produce." He continued. "But yesterday with Professor Flitwick... I thought about the first nigth I met you... and since I discovered that memory, a silvery sea turtle has been swimming out of the end of my wand every time I try." Sean smiled.
Lei: Lei smiled back. He cups Sean's chin with his palm and plants a soft kiss on his lips. Or at least that was what he wanted to do. But instead, he ran. He don't know where, but he ran.
And from that day onwards, these two boys never met or heard one thing of the other. And they lived sadly ever after.
